Next 12 months at today's price and hashrate

Block rewards fall about 5.6% every month, so the same miner earns less KAS each month even if nothing else changes.

MonthKAS earnedRevenueProfit

Assumes price and network hashrate stay at today's values, which they won't. Hashrate has historically risen over time, which lowers earnings further.

How it's calculated

  1. KAS issued per day = block reward × 10 blocks per second × 86,400 seconds.
  2. Your share = your hashrate ÷ network hashrate.
  3. Your KAS per day = KAS issued × your share × (1 − pool fee).
  4. Profit = KAS × price − watts × 24 ÷ 1,000 × electricity price.

Frequently asked questions

How is Kaspa mining profit calculated?

Your share of the network hashrate, multiplied by the KAS issued per day (block reward × 10 blocks per second × 86,400 seconds), minus your pool fee. Revenue is that KAS times the price; profit subtracts electricity.

Why will my earnings fall over time?

Two reasons. The block reward drops about 5.6% every month, and network hashrate tends to rise as new miners join. Both reduce your share. See the emission schedule.

Can I mine Kaspa with a GPU?

Technically yes, but it isn't profitable any more. Dedicated kHeavyHash ASICs produce almost all of Kaspa's hashrate and are vastly more efficient. See kHeavyHash.

Is this calculator accurate?

It's an estimate based on today's numbers. Real results vary with luck, pool payouts, downtime, hardware wear, price moves and hashrate growth. Treat it as a starting point, not a forecast.

Not financial advice. Mining involves hardware, energy and price risk. Do your own research before buying equipment.
